The MARGARITA Vocational Training Center is aimed at young men and women with mild to moderate mental disabilities aged 14 to 25 (year of admission). The evaluation of the students is undertaken by an interdisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrist, psychologist, social worker, special educator and occupational therapist.
Margarita's services and programs focus on education, special vocational training and vocational employment and support. The ultimate goal is the satisfaction of the right of young people with mental retardation to personal development, transition to adulthood, autonomy, social and professional integration.
A key condition for the success of the programs is the close cooperation of instructors, social services, students and parents, achieved with regular meetings and constant communication.
